Bonus

Astrophotography Sessions!

Capture the Milky Way above one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world.
Monument Valley is renowned for its incredible night skies, and we’ll make the most of it. You’ll be positioned in an ideal location during peak season for Milky Way photography, giving you the opportunity to witness—and photograph—the stars as they rise above the iconic buttes.

Whether you’re passionate about astrophotography or just beginning to explore it, this is your chance to experience the night sky in a way few ever do.

Transportation:

Transportation will not be included except for the tours that we’ll take inside Monument Valley with our Navajo guides.

You will need to arrange your own transportation to Goulding’s Lodge and to the shooting locations outside of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.

We will help coordinate carpools when traveling from the hotel to our shooting locations (10-30 minute drives).

We'll also help organize rental car sharing prior to the workshop in case other participants are interested in renting a car at a specific airport.

Note: The road to Monument Valley is paved, but the road within the park is a dirt road, so we recommend a 4WD SUV.

Meals and Accommodations

Accomodations

Accommodations are included in a shared double room with queen beds at Goulding’s Lodge for 3 nights and a shared tent during the overnight tour in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.

Single rooms and tents may be available (they are VERY limited) and, if so, will incur an additional $800 charge. While not guaranteed, we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Meals

Meals are not included, except for dinner and breakfast at our overnight camp.

Monument Valley is a remote area with few restaurants, but Goulding’s Lodge has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We also recommend buying groceries in a major city before you arrive in Monument Valley to stock up on food, drinks, and snacks for the next few days. Our mealtimes will vary depending on the shooting conditions, so we recommend having something to eat in case the restaurant is closed.

Entrance Fees

All passes to enter the parks are included.
