Leopard in the Tree
There is a leopard in one of these tress! And he has his dinner up there with him.
Serengeti National Park has about 1,000 leopards which their spotted coats can identify. The leopards during a safari around Serengeti National Park can be seen among the trees. Leopards are also carnivores with spots that are similar to the shape of roses.
Leopards in Serengeti National Park are also known to be very fast and can run up to about 58 km/h, which is an advantage when they have their prey in their sight, and they kill their prey in one swift move. Leopards can also easily adapt to their environment and to any weather.
In Africa, lions and packs of hyenas or painted dogs can kill leopards; in Asia, a tiger can do the same. Leopards go to great lengths to avoid these predators, hunting at different times and often pursuing different prey than their competitors, and resting in trees to keep from being noticed.
