As for the Calibration products, the Calibrate line of products (made by X-Rite) are in my opinion some of the very best. When I first became a professional photographer, I struggled with getting my prints (especially Canvas) to look the same on my screen as they did on the final media they were printed on. I wasted time and money trying to get my prints to look as good as the images do on my screen for two primary reasons. First my inexperience with respect to why my screen looked one way and the media another. I will discuss this in a future training video. The second reason was the fact that my monitors (Yes even Apple struggles here) were not properly calibrated. However, I no longer have to worry about those aspects since I switched to Calibrate software to calibrate my monitors ten years ago. I mainly use the Calibrate Studio because, with this version, I can not only calibrate my screens but also profile the paper I use with my Canon printers.

If you’re looking to correctly calibrate your screen/monitor but not create your own paper profiles, then the Calibrate Display HL Plus is exactly what you need. I would start there unless you want to tackle the more intricate Studio version.

I love these K&F Concepts Filters and especially the ability to use the magnetic ring to attach and swap our filters in seconds. This is especially helpful in dusty environments where you want to minimize your glass to dust. Also, these are great in cold weather.
